In Memoriam
The world of coin-op has lost many colorful and unusual individuals. Some were passionate collectors. Some were passionate dealers. Some were both. Many had a major impact on me- especially in my early collecting days. All were part of the fabric of our hobby- and helped give it zing. Whenever possible, I tried to capture a moment – whether visiting their collection at their home, attending a C.O.C.A. event, chasing machines at Chicagoland, bidding at an auction, a barbecue at Mike Gorski’s house, my house- or lunch at Portello’s. Some were unguarded moments- which I like best. Other times, some collectors had to be talked into standing still long enough to be photographed. There are many who should be here but were missing in action. These are some- all gone, but not forgotten.
